Send a Responder

Atlantic Hurricane Season, which begins every year on June 1st, marks the start of one of the busiest seasons for Airlink and its nonprofit partners. Relief workers on the ground are the most versatile resource in any response—assessing needs in real time, adapting, and multiply the impact of every response.

Airlink is committed to sending skilled responders to communities struck by hurricanes and other natural disasters, but rising fuel costs are making it more expensive for us to deploy these experts to communities and reach families in need.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 before peak hurricane season begins on August 1 to offset increased costs—including taxes and fees—and ensure that we can meet our nonprofit partners’ requests for help.

Your support ensures emergency medical specialists, search-and-rescue teams, and other essential disaster responders can move quickly when time is of the essence, even before a hurricane makes landfall.

That’s why your gift today matters.

Please give now so Airlink can enter hurricane season ready to act.

“Airlink’s support enabled the deployment of seven volunteer physicians to remote rural communities in Santa Elena [Ecuador]. Through this partnership, we delivered 1,191 medical consultations to patients who otherwise lacked access to healthcare.”

“Without vital support from Airlink in facilitating cargo movement of humanitarian supplies, ShelterBox would not have been able to reach critically underserved communities affected by the conflict in Sudan. As funding shrinks across the humanitarian sector, support from Airlink ensured that our project in Sudan could go ahead. Without Airlink, this project simply wouldn’t have happened.

— Chelsea Ali, Senior Supply Chain Specialist, Africa Programmes, ShelterBox
