Airlink’s Disaster Response
Airlink is rapidly mobilizing humanitarian and airline partners to help communities in Nepal by sending:
- Search and Rescue and emergency medical teams
- Disaster assessment and management teams
- Urgently-needed aid supplies, including medical equipment, medicines, water filters and hygiene kits, food, shelter tools and resources, and more
Given the severe infrastructure damage, remote aspect of the affected communities in and around Rasuwa, Nepal, and high, difficult elevation and terrain, this response is anticipated to be both challenging logistically and costly. Airlink has a long history of responding to catastrophic natural disasters in Nepal, including floods between 2017-2025 and the 2015 earthquake, and is utilizing best practices and strong partnerships developed to get immediate relief to communities, prioritizing rescue operations and safety assessments for disaster crews.
