Airlink’s Disaster Response

Airlink is working with airline and logistics partners to rapidly mobilize humanitarian partners to respond to the 2026 typhoon and cyclone seasons in the Pacific:

  • Damage assessment and debris removal
  • Emergency supply distribution of hygiene kits and shelter supplies
  • Power restoration and emergency telecommunication support

In order to reach Pacific Island communities, Airlink’s logistics support to move aid over long distances and to remote locations is critical. We’re identifying effective routes to get both emergency responders and supplies where they’re needed most.

A donation of even $12 can make all the difference in helping Airlink send a responder. Your support will help Airlink get relief to communities across the Pacific now to help communities recover tomorrow.

Situation Overview

Forming on April 4, Cyclone Malia caused severe coastal flooding in the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea after a week of rain. Dangerous landslides caused homes to collapse and left families without resources and food. Super Typhoon Sinlaku, forming a few days laster on April 8, is the strongest storm of 2026 so far. It left widespread damage across the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. territory, lashing torrential rain and wind speeds as high as 180mph that shredded tin roofs. Guam, where Airlink has a long-standing history of responding, was impacted too.Ā
