Airlink’s Disaster Response
Airlink is working with airline and logistics partners to rapidly mobilize humanitarian partners to mitigate the Ebola epidemic and strengthen health systems by transporting:
- PPE supplies to help with containment
- N95 masks to protect doctors and providers
- Urgently-needed medical supplies to treat patients
Airlink’s logistics support to move aid over long distances and to remote locations with limited healthcare infrastructure is critical. We’re identifying effective routes to get emergency supplies to the affected regions of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda rapidly. Airlink previously supported humanitarian partners responding to the West Africa Ebola outbreak in 2014, and maintains strong partnerships that helped suppress and ultimately stop the spread.
This response is made possible with the generous support of the U.S. Government.
