Bob has spent nearly four decades building and leading aircraft leasing platforms, overseeing the acquisition, leasing, financing and sale of several hundred commercial aircraft. Alongside his professional career in aviation finance, Bob has been deeply committed to applying industry expertise in service of humanitarian and philanthropic impact.
In 2010, Bob was a founding member of the nonprofit Airlink, which connects aviation partners with leading humanitarian organizations to deliver aid by air to communities affected by disaster and conflict. Now marking its 15th anniversary, Airlink has become a vital part of the global humanitarian response ecosystem, enabling rapid, efficient access to relief for vulnerable populations worldwide.
Professionally, Bob was a founding member of Vmo Aircraft Leasing, where he has served as Executive Chairman since 2021. Earlier, he co-founded Vx Capital Partners, a firm focused on mid-life aircraft and narrowbody cargo conversions and previously served as Executive Vice President of Finance at Pegasus Aviation.
Bob holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and has three adult children.
