Greg Franks leads Airlink’s individual giving program, overseeing strategy, donor engagement, and digital campaigns to drive growth and sustainability. He is responsible for stewarding a diverse portfolio of donors and implementing cross-channel fundraising initiatives that support Airlink’s mission to respond to humanitarian crises around the world.
Prior to joining Airlink, Greg held senior digital fundraising roles at the American Kidney Fund and the American Institute for Cancer Research, where he led high-performing campaigns that significantly grew revenue and donor engagement. He also brings deep experience in data science, marketing analytics, and government-focused digital strategy from earlier roles at the U.S. Department of Justice (via Agency Chief) and the United Service Organizations. Across sectors, Greg has built a reputation for using data-driven insights to optimize fundraising performance and deliver measurable impact.
Greg earned his B.B.A. in Marketing from Howard University and completed a Data Science Immersive Program with General Assembly, where he developed advanced skills in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data visualization.
A proud Washington, D.C. native, Greg now lives in Arlington, Virginia. In his free time, he enjoys reading nonfiction, cheering on the Washington Commanders, running and hiking with his schnauzer Rusty around National Landing, playing PS5, and taking flight lessons — both in simulators and in the sky.
