Gerry Butler is the Head of Trading of Avation PLC., based in Singapore. Gerry oversees Avation’s trading activities. Prior to taking this role in November 2024, Gerry served as CCO of CALC and prior to that he served as Chief Marketing Officer from 2016 of Merx Aviation (now Perseus).

Prior to joining Merx, he spent 15 years in various roles with Apollo Aviation (now Carlyle Aviation) and RBS Aviation Capital (now SMBC) based in Dublin, London and New York. He is a graduate of University College Dublin and was past President / Board member of ISTAT and currently is an Ambassador to Airlink.
