Gerry Butler is the CCO (Asia) for Aergo Capital, a Carval / Alliance Bernstein owned company, based in Singapore. Prior to this role Gerry was Head of Trading / Capital markets until May 2025, CCO of China Aircraft Leasing Company (1848.HK) and Chief Marketing Officer from 2016 of Merx Aviation (Apollo). Prior to joining Merx, Gerry spent 15 years with Apollo Aviation (now Carlyle) and RBS Aviation Capital (now SMBC) based in leadsership roles in Dublin, London and New York.

Gerry is a graduate of University College Dublin with a BA in Economics and Archaeology, attended HBS Business School for Business Leadership programs, is a current Ambassador to Airlink and prior President of ISTAT and Board Member of ISTAT and its Foundation.
