Airlink in Latin America & The Caribbean
Airlink’s first-ever response was in 2010 after a massive 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Since, Airlink has consistently helped deliver aid and transport responders and doctors to Haiti with the assistance of airline partners. While Airlink’s response in Haiti is ongoing, the organization has expanded to serve the border communities throughout Latin America & the Caribbean, responding to hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, and more.
A critical component of Airlink’s response condition is the development of localized regional partnerships between Airlink, local airlines, and local disaster response organizations.
