As Airlink’s Digital Media Associate, Helena Hanson is responsible for the general management of social media content and strategy to support program announcements, news, and fundraising.

Originally from Brazil, Helena earned her bachelor’s degree in Global Affairs from George Mason University with a concentration in Media, Communication, and Culture, and a minor in Marketing. Prior to joining Airlink, Helena interned at the Wilson Center in Washington, D.C., where she created content for their various social platforms. She has also worked as an editor and translator for a university research lab in Botucatu, Brazil, and worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

In her free time, Helena enjoys playing the flute, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
