She has been involved for the past 11 years in advisory services to airlines, operators, investors, and OEMs in strategic marketing and sales, market analysis, new market entry, growth strategy, aircraft sourcing, international business development, and feasibility studies.

Mylène recently executed mandates for AAR, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Airbus, and Wheels Up and has been involved in arranging aircraft financing and remarketing for many airlines and lessors. As a consultant with SkyWorks Capital and SkyWorks Leasing, some of her accomplishments include having contributed to aircraft sales for Air Tran, Air Canada, Alaska Air, Air China, and Virgin America. She has succeeded in opening new syndication and origination markets for the complex fleet financing of major airlines, including American Airlines, Atlas Air, Air Tran, Frontier, and United/Continental. She was directly involved in origination, placement, and syndication of asset-based transactions for airlines and lessors including debt and sale leaseback for hundreds of aircraft from Q400 to B7478F. Other transactions included aircraft sourcing and sub-leasing.

Mylène brings a successful career with airlines and operators prior to her history of consultant work:

  • In 2004, with Madison Airways, Mylène developed a sophisticated business model for a new transatlantic airline including aircraft selection, staffing, marketing and sales, route network, and strategic growth. The size of the airline was targeted to reach 19 aircraft by year 4 and a capital raise of $100 million.
  • At NetJets, a Berkshire Hathaway company and with then 1,000 aircraft, 7,000 employees, and $2 billion in revenues, Mylène was in charge of international business development and opened up China as a new market for aircraft fractional ownership. She negotiated a joint venture with Air China and assisted the Chinese government in publishing new aeronautical regulations. Mylène led the feasibility study for the expansion strategy of NetJets in Asia.
  • In 1995, Mylène co-founded Metrojet, Hong Kong’s third passenger air carrier, in partnership with the Kadoorie family (China Light & Power, Peninsula Hotels). As the Managing Director of Metrojet, Mylène was responsible for the company’s management, finance, administration, and sales and marketing as well as the recruitment of staff and crew. Metrojet’s operations and flights spanned across Asia with customers such as GE, Exxon, International SOS, Goldman Sachs, BP, and more. She led the process that earned Metrojet its Public Transport Operator’s Certificate in June 1997—only the eighth ever granted in Hong Kong and the last one to be granted before the handover to China. Metrojet opened the first Fixed Base Operation (FBO) and MRO for business aviation in Hong Kong.
  • Prior to Metrojet, Mylène pioneered business aviation in Asia by establishing the first European business aviation operation in Asia. With her appointment as Managing Director in Singapore then in Hong Kong, Mylène developed and oversaw the first Western managed FBO in Asia offering a complete range of business aviation services in Asia, including aircraft charter, aircraft management, ground handling, and maintenance.
