Mari is an Airline Marketing Director for Airbus covering North America out of the company’s American headquarters in Washington, DC. Her role is to lead strategic marketing efforts for the full range of Airbus commercial product line ranging from the A220 to the A350. She plays a major role in managing airline relationships to ensure that Airbus is the partner of choice for aircraft solutions.
Before Airbus, Mari held the same position at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft where she was responsible for marketing of the C Series, CRJ, and Q400 programs in North and South America.
Prior to the pivotal move into the OEM world, Mari spent two years in the aircraft finance industry in Dublin where she monitored and managed airline credit risks for the portfolio of Intrepid Aviation, an aircraft lessor focused on new generation widebodies (now dba Amedeo).
Mari holds a BSc from McGill University and a MSc in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University. She is a licensed private pilot.
Mari serves as an ambassador for Airlink, promoting the organization’s mission within and beyond the aviation industry. Having grown up in Japan and having witnessed first-hand the gravity of natural disasters, rapid humanitarian response is a cause very near to her heart.
