As Airlink’s Development Manager, Lauren works to grow and strengthen relationships with Airlink’s supporters.
Prior to joining Airlink, Lauren worked as a member of the American Council on Education’s Advancement team. In this role, she managed a portfolio of corporate partnerships, secured event sponsorships, and coordinated donor engagement. She has additional experience on Capitol Hill and working with international students in higher education.
In Lauren’s freshman year of undergraduate she traveled to the tiny village of El Bálsamo in Honduras to help build a school with Students’ Helping Honduras, an organization working to alleviate violence and poverty in Honduras through education. It was here she discovered her passion for mission-driven work. Lauren holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from James Madison University, where she also minored in both Nonprofit Studies and Humanitarian Affairs. In 2019, she graduated from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government with her master’s in Public Administration, concentrating in Nonprofit Management.
A Virginia native, Lauren enjoys exploring new foods and hiking trails in the DMV area. However, you can often find her buried in a book with her pup by her side.
