Gerry Butler is the Chief Commercial Officer (ex China) of China Aircraft Leasing Company (CALC), based in Singapore. Gerry oversees CALC’s non-PRC based commercial activities including sales and marketing efforts and trading activities. Prior to taking this role in June 2022, he served as Chief Marketing Officer from 2016 of Merx Aviation (now Perseus).

Prior to joining Merx, Chris spent 15 years in various roles with Apollo Aviation (now Carlyle Aviation) and RBS Aviation Capital (now SMBC) based in Dublin, London and New York. He is a graduate of University College Dublin and was past President / Board  member of ISTAT.
