As Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships at Airlink, Cindy builds relationships with airlines and other strategic partners to bring relief to communities experiencing natural disasters and humanitarian crises. She has secured more than $3.2 million of donated capacity for humanitarian relief flights to Ukraine and other global responses. 

Prior to joining Airlink, Cindy held various international roles in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She worked with the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation to engage the private sector in projects around the Sustainable Development Goals. As a project manager with DHL Express Americas, she spearheaded corporate citizenship initiatives in the areas of disaster response and preparedness, education, and employability in 19 countries. She also worked for nonprofit organization AIESEC International, developing global partnerships and leading program operations in Africa. 

Cindy earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Universidad Autonoma de Sinaloa in Mexico and a master’s in international solidarity from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two kids. Cindy is an avid reader and has visited over 55 countries so far.
