Anand Stanley is President and Head of Region, Airbus Asia- Pacific.
Based in Singapore, he leads the strategy and future positioning of Airbus and all its divisions, including its Commercial aircraft arm, Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defence & Space, in the region. He has responsibility for all commercial aircraft sales, customer support, government affairs, industrial collaboration and innovation.
Over his career Anand has worked extensively internationally, with more than two decades of leadership in aerospace and involvement in Asia and the Pacific region. He joined Airbus in 2018 and has previously worked with the Linde Group, UTC, Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed Martin and Sikorsky.
Anand is a member of YPO (young presidents’ organization). He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, the Board of the EU-ASEAN Business Council and the Board of EuroCham Singapore. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Airbus Japan, Chairman of GIFAS Asia (French Aerospace Trade Council) and serves as Advisor to His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner (UK). Anand volunteers as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.
Anand graduated from Andhra University in India and has postgraduate qualifications from IMI- Delhi and the University of Virginia-Darden.
