A 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Lombok, Indonesia on August 22, destroying thousands of homes and killing nearly 500 people. nearly 500 people died. The quake left 300,000+ people living in shelters. 

Airlink responded with the help of United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and SilkAir to send nonprofit partners World Central Kitchen and All Hands and Hearts.

World Central Kitchen mobilized their #ChefsForIndonesia campaign, cooking culturally-appropriate meals for 237,128 people over the course of 10 days. 

Meanwhile, the All Hands and Hearts team got to work assessing damage on homes across the island. In partnership with their country partner, Happy Hearts Fund Indonesia, helped 500 people regain access to safe and stable homes.
