Our Response
After impacting the Caribbean and Yucatán Peninsula, Hurricane Delta made landfall near Creole, Louisiana as a Category 2 storm on October 9.
The storm, which brought with it 100 MPH winds, heavy rain and storm surge, came ashore just miles from where Hurricane Laura made landfall in August.
Airlink prepositioned medical volunteers from Mobile Medics International (MMI) as the storm approached. Â The organization, which is providing medical care to those impacted, is no stranger to supporting Louisiana communities having done so immediately following Hurricane Laura just weeks prior.Â
Airlink will continue to support nonprofit partners providing debris clearing, rebuilding and other critical services until need is met.

Mobile Medics Responds to Hurricane Delta
Volunteers from Airlink partner Mobile Medics International were prepositioned in Louisiana as Hurricane Delta approached thanks to flights from Alaska Airlines and United Airlines.
