AviationC.A.R.E.S. Campaign Launched to Fight COVID-19

AviationC.A.R.E.S. Campaign Launched to Fight COVID-19

In April 2020, Airlink launched the AviationC.A.R.E.S. (Co-ordinated Air Response for Emergency Supplies) campaign with two objectives in mind:  to provide reliable airlift to organizations responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and promote the tremendous generosity of the aviation industry in response to crises.

Providing a Sustainable Pipeline of Airlift for Responding Relief Organizations

Airlink’s global impact fund under the AviationC.A.R.E.S. umbrella aims to raise $10M in cash and in-kind support from individuals, corporate, and foundation donors to underwrite transportation and logistics for a growing network of nonprofit relief organizations.

Beyond the immediate COVID-19 focused needs of relief organizations, this funding will be used to help fuel relief efforts for fragile communities enduring ongoing natural disasters during the pandemic and beyond.

#AviationCARES

AviationC.A.R.E.S. draws attention to the important role airlines and the broader aviation sector play in the rapid and reliable delivery of aid and relief workers around the globe. #AviationCARES is a means for those inside and outside the aviation sector to show their support for an industry hard-hit by COVID-19 but still continuing to keep vital supply chains moving to deliver humanitarian aid.
