Tetsuya “Ted” Nozaki is the founder and owner of Asahi Aviation in Irvine, California and Tokyo, Japan. He has been in aircraft leasing and trading business for 30 years.

Ted graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (naval architecture). He is a certified rugby referee and runs fields over the weekend. He has a blackbelt for judo and practices weekly. Ted speaks English and Japanese fluently and can communicate in Spanish and Portuguese as well.
