David Tokoph is the president and chief executive officer of mba Aviation, a leading aviation advisory firm that has provided appraisal, forecasting, technical, safety, and advisory services to the aviation industry for over 30 years.
Since joining mba in 2011, Tokoph has led held multiple roles leading the company’s advisory services related to asset valuation, asset management, and aviation safety services prior to becoming President & CEO in 2019.
Previously, Mr. Tokoph served in Senior Technical and Quality positions with several air carriers and consulted to banks, airlines and leasing companies in aircraft acquisition and disposition. His past role included Engineering and Senior Technical Management positions at Transmeridian Airlines, MAXjet Airways and Southern Air, including holding the FAA required Chief inspector post holder role at two airlines and was also the youngest person in history to be FAA approved for the role.
Mr. Tokoph is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a BS in Aviation Maintenance Management. He is a Senior ISTAT Certified Appraiser as well as a certificated Commercial Pilot and Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanic.
