Dr. Barry Humphreys CBE is a former regulator with the UK Civil Aviation Authority and was for many years a Director of Virgin Atlantic Airways. Since retirement from Virgin Atlantic, he has served two terms as Chairman of the British Air Transport Association (now Airlines UK), and was a Non-Executive Director of NATS, the UK air traffic control provider, and External Examiner for the MSC air transport courses at City University, London. He continues to carry out occasional consultancy projects and is actively involved in two charitable organisations.
