Syrian Refugee Medical Support

As Syria approaches its eight year of civil war, refugee numbers continue to grow. The UN Refugee Agency estimates 5.4 million people have left the country in search of safety. Unfortunately, suffering persists when they arrive in overcrowded refugee camps. A particular issue is that of sanitation and healthcare.

A new Airlink partner in 2017, Mobile Medics International team members traveled to Lesbos, Greece in January to provide care to refugees living in the Moria camp.

“My hope is that I can ease the medical suffering of as many people as possible,” said Founder Teresa Gray.

Airlink partnered with United Airlines to deliver Gray and one other Mobile Medics volunteer.
