Medical Mission

Abject poverty and a lack of access to medical care have left Northern Cebu, Philippines and neighboring islands chronically underserved.

With the help of Airlink and the Emirates Airline Foundation, volunteers from Mobile Medics International traveled to these communities to treat people with chronic and acute illnesses and injuries. The team also educated 12 local students working to become emergency medical technicians (EMTs) to help their communities become more self-sufficient.
