Hurricane Isaias

Airlink is monitoring Hurricane Isaias and stands ready to respond should impacted communities require the assistance of the organization’s nonprofit partners during response and recovery activities.

The hurricane is expected to bring heavy rains and strong winds to the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Turks and Caicos, and the Bahamas before impacting the US East Coast. 

The presence of COVID-19 is bringing additional challenges to communities preparing for Hurricane Isaias. Since January, Airlink has been responding to the pandemic by delivering personal protective equipment and other supplies to heavily impacted communities and working with partners to ensure response plans for disasters occurring during the pandemic are in place.
