The Eagles Wings

The Eagles’ Wings Foundation was founded in 1999 during the Bahamian relief efforts following the catastrophic damage inflicted by Hurricane Floyd. Since then, EWF has responded to many of the most devastating disasters in modern history including Hurricanes Irene, Katrina, Ike, Gustav, and Floyd, the 2010 Haitian Earthquake, the Deepwater Horizon (BP) Oil Spill, the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami, and the 2011 Tornado season. Upon tasking to a disaster, EWF focuses on providing a rapid situational assessment of critical infrastructure and searches out the unmet needs of vulnerable homebound survivors. As the assessments progress, donated emergency relief supplies and services are distributed to the communities in the greatest need.
